Dialectic Paper Assignment

Psychologist must use humans while conducting experiments. The lives of these humans are protected by ethics. Ethics are based on the morality of human beings. In many cases morality is a subjective term. Some people argue that they need to be protected from experiments that would cause harm with out considering the benefit. Others argue that accurate and reliable research data is only possible when the cost of the harm is ignored. Your assignment is to answer the following question:

Should researchers have a set of ethics that are standard across the world and serve to protect the subjects of the research?
